YoDay (“Platform”, “App”, “Website”) is operated by Dotloop Research and Innovation (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Platform.

By accessing or using YoDay, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

We collect information to provide an engaging and secure user experience. Information is collected directly from you, automatically through your device, and from authorized third parties.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account details such as name, email address, mobile number, username, date of birth, and profile photo.
• Privacy preferences and account settings configured by you.
• Feedback, reports, or communication you share via in-app support or reporting channels.
• Comments, photos, and other interactions you voluntarily upload after engaging with a post by selecting “Yes” or “No”.

Note: Only the Administrator (“Admin”) can create or upload posts. Users cannot create posts but can interact by selecting “Yes” or “No”. Only after choosing one option can users access the comment section to add comments, upload photos, or like/dislike comments.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, OS, browser type, and identifiers.
• Usage Information: Interactions such as “Yes”/“No” responses, comments, photo uploads, likes/dislikes.
• Log Information: IP address, session times, crash logs, and access frequency.
• Location Data: Approximate or precise location if permitted.
• App Permissions: Access to camera, gallery, contacts, notifications, storage, or other features as authorized by you.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

If you log in using a third-party platform (e.g., Facebook, Google, Apple, Microsoft), we may receive basic profile details such as name, email address, and profile photo, in accordance with their policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Enable interactions such as commenting, photo uploads, and feedback after “Yes”/“No” selection.
• Display and personalize Platform content.
• Improve app security, functionality, and analytics.
• Deliver targeted advertisements and notifications.
• Communicate updates, support, and security alerts.
• Ensure compliance with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3. User Interaction and Engagement Data

All posts are generated and managed solely by the Admin. Users engage by selecting “Yes” or “No” to view comments. Once enabled, users can comment, upload photos, and like/dislike other comments.

We collect and analyze this engagement data—including selections, comments, uploads, and reactions—to enhance platform moderation, personalization, and advertisement targeting. Misuse of these features may lead to suspension or termination under our Terms.

4. Advertising and Marketing

We may use interaction data such as “Yes”/“No” responses, comments, and engagement activity to deliver relevant advertisements and sponsored content. These ads may appear within the Platform or on third-party services. All such use complies with applicable privacy and consent requirements.

5. Data Storage and Retention

User data, including comments, uploaded photos, and engagement records, are securely stored in cloud infrastructure. Data is retained as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion, all associated data will be permanently erased within 7 days, during which you may restore your account.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• We do not sell personal data.
• We may share limited data with:
  • Service Providers for hosting, analytics, or customer support.
  • Legal Authorities if required by law.
  • Business Partners in case of merger or acquisition.
  • With your consent for integrations or linked applications.

7. Privacy Controls

• Control who can view your profile or comments.
• Adjust visibility of personal details.
• Withdraw permissions (camera, location, etc.).
• Set your profile as private.

8. Data Security

We apply encryption, authentication, and regular monitoring to protect your data. Despite our best efforts, no system is completely secure, and you acknowledge that sharing data is at your own risk.

9. Your Rights

10. Children’s Privacy

YoDay is not intended for children under 13 (or minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from minors without parental consent. If we become aware of such collection, data will be deleted immediately.

11. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your data may be processed or stored in jurisdictions other than your own. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers in compliance with applicable law.

12. Third-Party Services

The Platform may include links or integrations with third-party services (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat). We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. Review their respective privacy policies before use.

13. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Revised versions will be posted with the latest “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of such updates.
